Room Make-over
| Welcome to our Room Make-Over. We figured that our 9.5 X 12.5 foot bargain room was ready for a change. We decided to turn it into a showroom and in the process take some "before and after" pictures. Once the room is painted and carpeted it is simply a matter of getting your "stuff" arranged. Everything you need for a project like this is available here in Chelan and Manson. If you have any questions or comments, I am at frants@columbiafurniture.com ENJOY! |

| The Bargain Room, as you can see, was beginning to look...not very attractive. Holes and scratches in the walls with a cluttered inventory seemed like wasted space. |
So we challenged ourselves to spiff the room up relatively fast and in-expensive, using touch-up paint and/or paint we already had. Finding the furniture was easy :-) |

| So here is the beginning. A room full of stuff, shelves on the walls to be taken down and a carpet in need of vacuuming. |
This step includes toucing up the white in order to obtain an even color, removing the plates from the outlets and to fill holes and scratches. |

| The yellow paint we found in the basement was different from the wall color, so Roger had the pleasure of painting the two walls. It is fast and easy with a "Mega Roller" from Lake Interiors. |
The blue we found was also different so that whole wall was painted too. Roger used a square paint "handle" for corners and trim. The best result is from removing the trim and re-install it after painting. |

Here is the room after a couple of days work. A Queen-size bed, two nightstands, lamps, wall decor, dresser, area rug and some accessories. Even if this does not fit your taste, we hope that is shows, that a room can be fixed up with a blend of what you already have in your house and new furniture and/or accessories. We used many different looks and styles on purpose to show how to make a room more inviting. Feel free to stop by the store any time to get inspired. |
